This notice explains what happens to the details you give us through the interest form on this page. It is short on purpose.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data described here is Whatwapp Entertainment S.r.l., Via XX Settembre, 27, 20123 Milano MI, Italy. You can contact us at privacy@whatwapp.com.
What we collect
When you submit the form on our page, we collect what you type into it:
- Work email, company and the ATS you use (required).
- Name, role or title, number of open roles and what is stuck (optional).
We also store basic technical data with each submission: the date and time, the page address you submitted from, the referring site if there is one, and campaign tags in the address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term). Our hosting provider also processes technical data such as your IP address when it delivers the page and receives your submission, as any web host does. We do not store your IP address with your submission.
Why we use it
We use your details to contact you about Compass, and to understand how much interest there is in the product.
Legal basis
Our legal basis is your consent. By submitting the form you agree that we may contact you about Compass. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@whatwapp.com.
Who processes it
We use Cloudflare, Inc. as our hosting and storage provider. It stores your submission on our behalf and processes it only to provide that service. We also use Resend (Resend, Inc.) as our email delivery provider: for each submission it sends us a notification email that contains everything you typed into the form and the technical data described above. Resend processes it only to deliver that email. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else for their own purposes.
Where it is stored
Data is stored by Cloudflare, Inc. on its global network, which may include servers outside the European Economic Area. The notification email also passes through Resend's systems and then lands in our company email inbox.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for 12 months from our last contact with you, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- have your data deleted (erasure);
- restrict how we use your data;
- object to our use of your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@whatwapp.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
